Changes

Wow! Haven't been on here for a long time! Life has been crazy these last few months. 2012 has heralded some much-needed changes.
My past posts have been very personal so thinking time to lighten things up. I have become a die-hard op shopper these days and love looking around for bargains. I'm going to post some pics soon of my beautiful finds so all can enjoy.
Today I ventured into the Cheltenham Salvos and found a beautiful white wicker hamper. Riley was very happy with this purchase and proceeded to sniff at it like crazy and jumped inside to test it out.
Also found a cute blue jug that now holds my teabags, a small red dish for my Canadian coins, black Betts wedges, red Salt and Pepper swizzle sticks and 2 lovely gold ornate cushions. All for $18.00!!!

Keeping to the topic at hand I recently purchased an Ikea chair from work (Hampton Salvos). Seeing as the cushion was white and somewhat grotty I purchased some red dye in order to revamp the chair. Hmmm this was interesting indeed. Needless to say the house was covered in red dye, as well as Riley's paws, my hands, and my new (from work) Little Joe silk shirt!!
A forthcoming trip to the dry cleaner is in order. As for Riley, he is now sporting lovely red tinged fur on the underside of his paws:)
